Submit the Trip for Approval
Trips must be approved by both ACA and the KCKA president prior to the event. Assuming everyone can be contacted and has time to respond, this could happen on a Friday morning for a weekend trip. The smart thing is to submit the trip far enough in advance to be sure both ACA and the KCKA president can respond.
Always cover your trial. Keep a copy of the approval from each.
