As a participating organization, we are helping to promote the film "River Talk," an independent film submitted this year to the Tallgrass Film Festival, a program of the Wichita Association for the Motion Picture Arts. The film is about the salmon controversy and has many similarities with the tension in Kansas about overuse of water by agriculture. It just won a good monetary award at the festival in Bend, OR. Our president, Russ Icke, will give a short talk about our organization before the film showing. You can read about it and other festival films at
