US 400 - 197 miles - I-44 near Baxter Springs, KS
I-44 Baxter Springs Exit - 70 miles - Exit 69 (Route 360 is a new bypass around Springfield)
Route 360 - 9.7 miles - Campbell Ave Exit. (Quicktrip at this exit, also exit for Bass Pro)
Note: 60 is also know as James River Expressway in Springfield.
Equipment / Gear on the Way - Exit S. at National about .2 mile to Republic Rd. Left (East) on Republic about 1/2 block. Ozark Adventures 417-881-7122 in strip mall on S side of Republic. (Remember to thank them for advertising in the Kansas Paddler Newsletter)
Route 360 / 60 - East 62 miles - Mountain Grove x Highway 95 (Travel slows from here)
Mountain Grove Highway 95 - South 14 miles - Past Highway 76 to "W" at Vanzant
"W" - East and then South 12 miles - Highway 14
Highway 14 - East 1.3 miles - Highway 181
Highway 181 - South 4 miles - Dora, MO & MO Highway "CC" ("CC" is 1/2 mile s of CONOCO/Roy's Store)
Dora, MO is a reference point that is close to various campsites and outfitters.

Home (ICT) - State line/I-44/400 = 3:20
State line/I-44/400 - Mountain Grove/95 = 2:20
Mountain Grove/95 - Dora = :40 (33 miles in the hills)
From St. Louis, MO to Dora, MO
I-44 - Southwest - Rolla, MO & US 63
US 63 - South - West Plains, MO & MO Highway "CC"
MO Highway "CC" - About 30 miles - Dora, MO
Dora, MO is a reference point that is close to various campsites and outfitters.
From Dora, MO to Hammond Campground
MO Highway "CC" - East 7 miles - North Fork Bridge
Hammond Campground is the paved turn on the right side (south) after crossing the bridge. Hammond Campground is on the Southeast side of the bridge. River left and downstream from the bridge.
West Plains to Hammond Campground
MO Highway "CC" - West about 30 miles - North Fork Bridge
Hammond Campground will be left turn (south) just before reaching the bridge. Hammond Campground is on the Southeast side of the bridge. River left and downstream from the bridge.
Roy's Store is located in Dora and has a restaurant. Look for the CONOCO sign. Roy's is about .5 mile north of the "CC" turn off to Hammond.
Crossroads Store is located 2.8 miles south of Dora where Highway 181 turns to the West.
